Sexy winner under Twin Spires

Ready’s Image filly I’m Already Sexy made her debut on turf a winning one at Churchill Downs on Thursday.  The Kentucky bred youngster was coming off a convincing victory on the main track at Keeneland last month.

I’m Already Sexy (2f Ready’s Image – Klohho by Trempolino) sat three wide without cover before surging clear in a 1600m allowance event under the Twin Spires.  She held sway in the final furlong to win by two lengths from Always Kitten who had started favourite in the G3 Jessamine Stakes at her previous start.

I’m Already Sexy was bred in Kentucky by Equus Farm and is trained by Wayne Catalano for Hit The Board Stables.  She was a $20,000 buy at the 2011 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky yearling sale.

Lincoln Farm shuttler Ready’s Image has sired the winners of 8 two year-old races in North America this year.  That puts him equal with former Makybe shuttler Street Hero and they are in the Top 10 on the first-season winners’ premiership.

Ready’s Image (More Than Ready) stands at Lincoln Farm in the Hunter Valley for a $5,500 (inc gst) service fee.  Owner Nick Posa can be contacted for further information on 0417 903 578.

Hoofnote:  I’m Already Sexy created some kind of record at the Keeneland meeting last month.  She was the first 2YO from over 220 starters to win without the anti-bleeder medication Lasix.
