Shake Shake Shake tops Oaklands Sale

Choisir mare Shake Shake Shake topped Day 1 of the Inglis Melbourne August Sale at Oaklands Junction on Thursday.

Offered by Bucklee Farm, she made $40,000 to the bid of NSW buyer VCB / G Cuddy.  The mare won a Taree maiden in 12 starts and was sold in foal to Domesday.

Shake Shake Shake is a half-sister to LR Belmont Oaks winner Rock My Pago (Rock of Gibraltar).  They descend from a family developed by the late Vince Yovich at WA based Evergreen Lodge.

In all, 124 horses sold on Thursday for turnover of $454,050 at a clearance rate of 83%.

The sale continues on Friday highlighted by a host of talented gallopers as part of Darley’s annual reduction.
