Show A Heart heads 2010 roster at Glenlogan Park

Glenlogan Park has announced its service fees for 2010 headed by Champion sire Show A Heart who will stand for a 27,500 (+ gst) service fee.

The Glenlogan Park stallion roster has continued to go from strength to strength over the last few years with Show A Heart now firmly entrenched among the top echelon of proven sires in the country.

SHOW A HEART – $27,500 plus GST

Show A Heart is setting benchmarks no other Queensland stallion has ever previously achieved!  In only a short period at stud, Show A Heart has already left Group 1, Group 2, Group 3 and stakes winners as well as a 2YO Magic Millions winner and a 3YO Magic Millions winner.

Heart Of Dreams, Mimi Lebrock, Toorak Toff, Rightfully Yours, Gotta Have Heart, Dual Chamber and Crossyourheart are only a small selection of the quality gallopers that this Champion Sire has already produced – but more importantly he just keeps getting winner after winner every week and to all levels.

In fact, Show A Heart has the best winners to runners ratio of any of the top sires in the country!  And with the best bred of his progeny yet to face the starter, he has the world at his feet.

JET SPUR – $17,500 plus GST

Very few stallions have created as much of an impression as Jet Spur.  His debut crop were among the most sought-after youngsters in the country and those runners have propelled Jet Spur to the lead on the Australia 2YO premiership for individual winners.  Redoute’s Choice is second!

This good looking son of Flying Spur was swamped with mares at a fee of $15,000 plus GST last year.  And he is sure to fill up very quickly in 2010.

RED ELEMENT – $8,000 plus GST

As a stakes winning brother to Champion mare Typhoon Tracy, Red Element is perhaps the best value stallion standing in Queensland when you take into account his sire credentials.

A racehorse of the highest quality, Red Element hails from a family that rates with the best in this country being a multiple stakes winning son of Red Ransom and out of the current Broodmare Of The Year in Tracy’s Element (Last Tycoon).

Combine that with the fact Red Element would challenge as one of the classiest looking stallions to stand in Australia and with his pedigree, looks, ability and buyer appeal it’s hard to think of another stallion standing in this price bracket who can offer breeders so much upside.

Trainer David Hayes rated Red Element very highly.   “He had absolute Group 1 sprinting ability.  He could run some amazing times and he is one of the most balanced and well-conformed horses I have ever trained.  No doubt he will leave fantastic types and I will be very eager to get his offspring into my stables.”

BRADBURY’S LUCK – $10,000 plus GST

Magic Millions winners make successful sires and Bradbury’s Luck has shown enough with his first season runners to suggest he is certainly going to add his name to that list.

The Magic Millions 2YO Classic has proven to be one of the most accurate indicators to future stallion success on the Australian racing calendar and Bradbury’s Luck looks set to follow in the footsteps of previous winners such as General Nediym, Brave Warrior, Testa Rossa and Snippets.

He is by Redoute’s Choice out of Skating who rates as one of the best sprinter-miler mares to race in Australia in the last 20 years.

The first crop of Bradbury’s Luck yearlings were presented in 2009 where he had offspring sell to an incredible price of $210,000.  These youngsters are now proving themselves full of quality on the racetrack with an early black type performer and city winners.

FALVELON – $12,000 plus GST

An undefeated stakes winning 2YO, Falvelon was later crowned Australia’s Champion Sprinter and is now quickly adding the title of outstanding sire to his list of credentials.

With his oldest progeny being only 5YOs, Falvelon has proven to be among the most prolific winner-getters in the country.

His value to the Queensland breeding industry, and in particular the QTIS 600 incentives, is almost unparalleled.  He has produced the highest number of juvenile winners in the State from each of his three completed seasons thus far.  He is exactly the right type of stallion to get mares producing winners!

His black type performers include She’s Meaner, Kryptelon, Mr Profumo, Keiki, Falvelon’s Dream, Walking Or Dancing, Falontime, Beltija, Power of George and Fangles.

REAL SAGA – $14,000 plus GST

Real Saga was Australia’s highest rated 2YO Colt of the last decade when he retired to stud last year.  Understandably, he received excellent patronage from breeders across all of Australia.

Real Saga presents breeders with that rare opportunity of supporting a young stallion who started favourite in both the G1 Golden Slipper and the G1 Blue Diamond Stakes and whose offspring will have tremendous buyer appeal at any sale in the country.

A stakes winner on debut in the time-honoured NSW Breeders’ Plate, Real Saga stamped himself as the leading colt of his era when he effortlessly added the G2 Todman Slipper Trial Stakes and the G3 Blue Diamond Prelude to his impressive resume.

In his first season in the serving barn, Real Saga was very popular with breeders and they can be confident his progeny will sell exceptionally well in the sales ring.

Real Saga is a very muscular, masculine stallion with superb conformation.  At less than $15,000 fee, he is perhaps the lowest priced, really commercial sire in Australia!
