Shuttle options for Anabaa stallion Dalghar

French stud Haras de Saint Arnoult is canvassing shuttle options for its Anabaa stallion Dalghar.

Dalghar (5h Anabaa – Daltawa by Miswaki) is a half-brother to brilliant middle-distance performers Dalakahni and Daylami.  He was a home-bred for the Aga Khan and was runner-up to German colt Smooth Operator in the G1 Criterium de Maisons-Laffitte in November 2008.

At three, he won the Listed Prix Luthier and the following season he landed the G3 Prix du Palais-Royal as well as being placed in the Betfair Cup, Prix du Pin and Diadem Stakes.

Dalghar was purchased privately by a partnership including Nevin Botica earlier this year.  He will stand at a fee of 4,000 euros alongside Midships, Simplex and Yellowstone.

Haras de Saint Arnoult hopes to shuttle him to the southern hemisphere in 2012.
