Sigma sold to stand in The Philippines

Magic Millions has brokered a deal to stand regally bred colt Sigma in the Philippines.  The son of Redoute’s Choice will be based at Jade Bros Farm.

Sigma (4h Redoute’s Choice – Angelic Smile by Dehere) won at Randwick and Warwick Farm and was last seen finishing midfield behind Tickets in the G2 Phar Lap Stakes at Rosehill in March 2010.

Sigma was purchased by Darley Australia for $1.10 million from the Highgrove Stud draft at the 2008 Inglis Easter yearling sale.  He is a half-brother to G3 VRC Vanity Stakes winner Pure Joy (Fusaichi Pegasus) and Darley’s multiple G2 winner Fravashi (Falbrav).

Fravashi joined Darley’s international team after he won the 2009 G3 South Pacific Classic at Randwick.  He has been stakes placed at Meydan and York in six starts since being exported 18 months ago.
