Rangeview Stud sire So Secret is set to serve a quality book of mares in his first season at the Bullsbrook nursery this year.

So Secret is a son of ill-fated Danehill sire Danetime who has several Australian and European-bred sons at stud in Western Australia.  The Rangeview Stud newcomer is a member of WA’s more influential families through his dam Most Secret who blazed a trail for Champion Westspeed sire Bletchley Park.  She was his first winner when claiming the Listed WATC Supremacy Stakes, Queen’s Plate and Gimcrack Stakes at Ascot in the summer of 1996.

At stud, Most Secret has had five to race for five winners including G1 Railway Stakes winner Covertly (Metal Storm) and the Perth stakes winner Secret Link (Encosta de Lago).

So Secret was her third black-type winner when he claimed the G3 Colonel Reeves Stakes at Ascot for Judith Kersley and Oakland Park Stud breeder Neville Duncan.

Duncan has booked stakes producing mares Umatune and Paradise Park to So Secret this season.  Umatune is the dam of Listed Perth 2yo winner Jestatune (Rory’s Jester), G2 WA Guineas runner-up Saxon Palace (Bletchley Park) and smart city winner Umaar (Xaar).

Paradise Park is the dam of Grand Nirvana (Scenic), a G3 winner of the WATC Roma Cup and Listed Belmont Guineas.

Other mares booked to So Secret include the dams of stakes winners Keyton Grace (Hannans Handicap), For Your Eyes Only (Gimcrack Stakes), Danecay (Kentiara Classic), Keytomoney (Bunbury Stakes) and Hi On Love (Champion Fillies).

Stakes winning mares Ifestio (Belmont Oaks) and Point Of No Return (Burgess Queen) are also booked into So Secret who will stand his first season at Rangeview Stud for a $4,400 service fee.
