Ain’tnofallenstar will return to Melbourne for the G2 Kewney Stakes after she scored a valuable first time stakes success in the Listed Nitschke Stakes at Morphettville on Saturday.
Ain’tnofallenstar (3f Starcraft – Ain’t Seen Nothin’ by Nothin’ Leica Dane) is trained by Lee Freedman and she came with a late rush to reel in Always Discreet and Addiction to Rock.
Freedman bought her for $270,000 from the draft of Arrowfield Stud at the 2009 Gold Coast Magic Millions. She is one of two winners, from two to race, for former quality performer Ain’t Seen Nothin’. Her other winner is Mornington based mare Hidden Charges.(Charge Forward).
Ain’t Seen Nothin’ won stakes races at Flemington, Canberra and Kembla Grange and she was also G1 placed in an Underwood Stakes. Her current 2yo is a Starcraft colt that cost Laurence Eales $200,000 at the 2010 Gold Coast Magic Millions. The mare also has a yearling colt by Hussonet and a filly foal by Starcraft.
Starcraft is making an impact at stud with five stakes winners headed by first crop Group 1 winners Star Witness and We Can Say it Now. Star Witness was a late withdrawal from the G1 Oakleigh Plate after running a temperature and NZ filly We Can Say it Now will be favoured to beat the colts in the G1 Australian Guineas this Saturday.
Geisel Park filly Foo Foo the Snoo opened Starcraft’s second crop account at Ascot last month and his G1 Blue Diamond Stakes runner-up Hallowell Belle also has a Perth connection. She is raced by Fremantle based businessman Craig Thompson.
