Peter Moody’s three-year old team is one of the strongest in recent years, and the Caulfield trainer may have another one to add to the likes of Black Caviar, Headway and Wanted in Tonzaticka.

Tonzaticka (3c Show A Heart-Danzin Yeah by Danzero) has been given time to mature and from a favourable draw is a big chance to break his maiden in the Gorst Rural Maiden at Ararat (Race 1 at 12.45 ESDT).

Passed-in at last year’s Inglis Classic Sale, Tonzitcka was previously prepared by Tom Dougall in Queensland and, despite drawing wide in both his two-year old starts, finished less than two lengths from the winner on both occasions.

He is by resident Glenlogan Park sire Show A Heart and is the second foal for Danzin Yeah, a winning half sister to G2 VATC Sandown Guineas winner to Star Video (Provideo).
