Undeniably – Bred to Win – Wednesday, 18 November 2009

Melbourne Cup winning trainer Mark Kavanagh will jet out to Perth later today as a special guest for Saturday’s Railway Stakes meeting, but he will be keen to saddle up a few more winners at Ballarat before departing.

Undeniably can get the ball rolling for Kav in the Thomas Jewellers Maiden (Race 2 at 12.20pm AEDT).

Undeniably (3g Fastnet Rock-Suggestive by Al Hareb) was a $360,000 purchase from last year’s Inglis Easter yearling sale and was saved from a considerably weaker maiden at Seymour last Wednesday for today.  He is a younger half brother to G1 Emirates Stakes winner Sky Cuddle (Snippets) and G3 SAJC Christmas Handicap winner Sky Love (Octagonal).

With stable jockey Michael Rodd on the sidelines due to a suspension, Kerrin McEvoy will take the reins and from an inside gate, Undeniably looks extremely tough to beat.
