Vin Cox has been appointed Managing Director of Magic Millions. Cox brings 23 years’ experience in the industry to his new role.
Cox was with William Inglis from 1988 until he resigned to form his own bloodstock advisory company in 2002. “I am most excited and honoured to have been selected for this role with Magic Millions,” he said. “It’s become one of the leading thoroughbred sales organisations in the world and is renowned for innovation and growth. It is tremendous to have the opportunity to work with Gerry Harvey, Katie Page-Harvey and the Magic Millions team.”
Cox has been the Australasian representative for Keeneland since 2003 and is credited with helping to bridge the gap between the Australian and American breeding industries. He will relocate to the Gold Coast with his wife Nicole (a veterinarian) and three boys.
“Katie and I are delighted that Vin has accepted the position of Managing Director of Magic Millions,” Gerry Harvey said. “We look forward to growing the business together and raising the profile of the Australian bloodstock industry locally and internationally.”
