Stromberg Carlson sustained his winning strike-rate from the weekend when Whitsunday Express won at Townsville on Tuesday.  

Whitsunday Express (4g Stromberg Carlson – Express Train by Green Line Express) has won 5 times in 16 starts and earned over $80,000 for Eden Racing Stud owner Tony Soden.  

Stromberg Carlson had sired a winning treble on Saturday.  In A Storm and You’re The Voice opened the Gold Coast program with running double and Macca’s Express put the icing on the cake that night at Toowoomba.

The Raheen Stud resident is also the sire of Korean based colt Jeonseong Sidae who returned from a spell on Friday night.

Jeonseong Sidae (3c Stromberg Carlson – Jessie’s Journey by Crown Jester) was runner-up to USA bred gelding Dave’s Train over 1600m.  He was a $15,000 buy from the Raheen draft at the 2010 Magic Millions HIT Sale and has earned the equivalent of AUD 117,285.

Stromberg Carlson (Redoute’s Choice) has 8 lots catalogued for this year’s HIT Sale at the Gold Coast on October 19 & 20.
