Winning Margins for Parameter

Queensland based stallion Parameter sired his first winner at Toowoomba on Saturday.  Local gelding Margins opened his account with a three length victory in the Matrix Planning Solutions Maiden (1100m) at Clifford Park.

Margins (3g Parameter – Printer’s Mistress by Semipalatinsk) had been placed on debut at Eagle Farm in March and was racing first-up after a 23 week spell.  The winner is trained by Ben Currie for local owner-breeder and Toowoomba committeeman Kim McCasker.

Parameter is available for a $2,200 (inc gst) service fee at Greenvale Park on the Darling Downs.  He stands alongside Court Courting (Danehill) and Wishart (Pride Of Kellina).

Margins is one of three starters to date from Parameter’s first crop.  He averaged 18 mares in each of his first four seasons at stud.

Parameter (Danehill – Sitella by Shirley Heights) won races at Gold Coast (4), Doomben (2) and Eagle Farm.  He is a brother to Green Treasure (G3 Sha Tin Trophy) and Replicator (G3 AJC Fernhill Stakes).
