WinStar Farm paid top price of $400,000 for a half-sister to 2010 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile winner Uncle Mo on Day 5 of Keeneland’s November Sale.
Grosse Pointe Anne (Silver Deputy) was consigned by Three Chimneys as a broodmare prospect. She and Uncle Mo are from the stakes performed Arch mare Playa Maya.
Gross receipts on Friday totalled $10.34 million for the 277 horses that changed hands. The average of $37,361 was down $4,643 from last year.
A Speightstown filly out of stakes winner Saratoga Humor (Distorted Humor) was the most expensive foal at $180,000. Next best was a filly by Darley shuttler Street Boss out of the Saint Ballado mare Wadena. She made $160,000 to BG Stables.
