A brilliant winner of the G3 Harcourts Challenge Stakes (1400m), Justanexcuse has an Any Suggestion half-brother catalogued for Karaka in February.
Justanexcuse (5g No Excuse Needed – Aggressive by Val Dansant) came from midfield to cruise past Antonio Lombardo for a hands and heels win under Darryl Bradley. He holds a nomination for the G1 Thorndon Mile.
Trainer Lisa Latta and owners Lincoln Farms have enjoyed a winning year together with Fort Lincoln (Karaka Million), Platinum Princess (G2 Coupland Mile) and President Lincoln (G2 Wellington Guineas).
Justanexcuse has won 9 races from 35 starts. He was sold by Waikato Stud for $105,000 at the NZB 2008 Karaka Premier Sale and has now won over $240,000.
He is a half-brother to the stakes winner On Call (Ironclad) who is the dam of the G1 winning filly Scarlett Lady (Savabeel). Their younger half-brother at Karaka is by Rich Hill Stud’s exciting young sire Any Suggestion.
A former top-flight sprinter in Australia, Any Suggestion has already struck twice with the early season winners Killa Question (Counties) and Taoist Master (Trentham).
