Sydney agent Vin Cox paid $170,000 to buy stakes-winning mare Get Ready Bertie on Day 8 of the Keeneland November Sale.  She was sold in foal to Majestic Warrior.

The More Than Ready mare is out of Group winner De Bertie (De Niro).  The dam has also foaled G3 Gardenia Handicap winner Whirlie Bertie. She was consigned by Taylor Made Sales.

On Monday, gross receipts totalled $3.79 million for an average of $14,599.  Last year’s average was $20,343.

Two horses brought $60,000 for the session’s second-highest price.  Gainesway purchased Unbridled’s Song mare Gold Mirage in foal to Kodiak Kowboy.   A weanling filly by Kitten’s Joy out of the Rubiano mare On Broadway was purchased by Hill ‘n’ Dale Bloodstock from Ramsey Farm.
