Snapy Halo (Arg) has snapped an unbelievable losing streak to sire his first winner in Queensland.

His second-crop filly You Angel You won the Tropical Auto Trainers Maiden Hcp (1100m) second-up after a spell at Yeppoon.

Snapy Halo had 11 individuals starters lose a total of 62 races before she shook off the shackles on Friday.

You Angel You (3f Snapy Halo – Pokomo by Piccolo) is raced in a large partnership by breeder Bill & Dianne Ouston.  They won 6 races with his dam at Rockhampton.

Snapy Halo (Southern Halo) won the 2009 Group 1 Estrellas Mile in Argentina before transferring to Australia where the best he could manage for trainer John O’Shea was a third in the LR Royal Parma Stakes at Randwick.

Based at Cangon Stud in the Hunter Valley for two years, he was exported in 2013 and now stands for a $2,500 fee at Calumet Farm in Kentucky.
