Kooringal Stud sire Bureaucracy has been put down aged 24. He had been pensioned last December after covering 18 books at the Wagga nursery.
Bureaucracy (NZ) was raced by leading syndicator Harry Lawton and was trained to G1 victories in the STC George Ryder Stakes and VRC Ascot Vale Stakes by Jack Denham.
A NZ bred son of Lord Ballina, he stood at Lockyersleigh Stud and Yarraman Park earlier in his career. He had been based at Stuart Lamont’s Kooringal Stud in Wagga alongside Alert (Arg), Enemy of Average (Fusaichi Pegasus), Marwina (Marscay) and Zariz (Mukaddamah).
Bureaucracy has supplied 288 winners headed by Court’s In Session (G1 STC George Ryder Stakes), Mr Bureaucrat (G1 BTC Doomben Cup), Noircir (G2 VRC Hardy Brothers Classic) and Normal Practice (G3 STC Ajax Quality).
He is the damsire of world champion sprinter Silent Witness (El Moxie) and current stakes winners Sister Madly (Redoute’s Choice) and Albert The Fat (Magic Albert).
