Caulfield Cup winner sold to stand in Turkey

2008 Caulfield Cup winner All The Good has been sold to stand at stud Turkey.  Godolphin’s Group 1 winner will be based at Cokay Stud near Istanbul.

All The Good (7h Diesis – Zarara by Manila) was originally trained by Gerard Butler to win at Lingfield, Newmarket and Musselburgh (2) before his induction into the Blue Army.

He earned a trip to Australia after winning the Newburgh Handicap at Newbury in August 2008.  Two months later at Caulfield, he caused a $41 boilover in the first-leg of the cups double.

All The Good sustained a joint injury when defeating Nom Du Jeu and Barbaricus at Caulfield and was subsequently ruled out of the Melbourne Cup.  He failed to respond to further treatment and did not race again.

His sire Diesis (Sharpen Up) has several successful sons at stud in Europe headed by Docksider, Elmaamul and Halling.  He has been represented in this part of the world by former NZ shuttler Daggers Drawn.

All The Good’s dam Zarara is by North American champion Manila who has been one of Turkey’s leading sires for many years.  She is an unraced half-sister to Ramruma, a Diesis filly who was a G1 winner of the English and Irish Oaks winner Ramruma.

All The Good’s sale follows news that Coolmore had sold Dehere, Lion Heart and Powerscourt to stand at the Turkish National Stud.
