Elusive Quality stallion Cautious Time will stand his first season in the Upper Hunter Valley this year.
A brother to champion colt Sepoy, he is available for a $6,600 (inc gst) fee at Murrurundi based Timor Station. “We are probably better known for being involved with polo, but we do have a keen interest in thoroughbreds,” Timor Station’s Fiola Labron Johnson said. “Cautious Time had ability and is a very similar type to Sepoy.”
Cautious Time (6h Elusive Quality – Watchful by Danehill) was trained by Rod Northam at Scone for owner Albert Aguire who is also President of the NSW Polo Association. He was a $14,000 buy at the 2009 Magic Millions National Sale and won races at Quirindi, Gunnedah and Muswellbrook before bowing out at Canterbury in December 2011.
