Coolmore introduce Lookin At Lucky and Starspangledbanner

Coolmore Australia has announced its 2011 service fees with the addition of newcomers Lookin At Lucky and Starspangledbanner.

Lookin At Lucky has the distinction of being the first USA colt in 31 years to be champion as a 2YO and 3YO.  He was a G1 winner of the Preakness Stakes and Haskell Invitational as a 3YO.

By a champion sire in Smart Strike, he is a big, strong horse that is sure to impress upon his arrival in Australia.

Starspangledbanner was a champion sprinter of Australia and Europe.  He boasts a pedigree synonymous with G1 success in Australasia allied to an Adonis like physique.

“Coolmore has demonstrated its confidence in the domestic market though our acquisition of international sire prospects Starspangledbanner and So You Think who will be racing in Europe for Aidan O’Brien this year,” Coolmore’s Michael Kirwan said.

“The foundations for this success have been laid by our own shuttle sires and we continue to introduce horses and bloodlines of the highest international quality into the Australasian market.”
