Coolmore stands G1 winner Thewayyouare in Kentucky

Coolmore’s Ashford Stud in Kentucky will stand G1 winner Thewayyouare in 2010.  The four-year-old son of Kingmambo colt is from the family of Broodmare of the Year Better Than Honour.

Thewayyouare began his career with trainer Andre Fabre and won four times as a two year-old including the 2007 Criterium International (G1) at Saint-Cloud.  Michael Tabor and Derrick Smith bought into the colt the following year after he finished four lengths adrift of Falco in the French 2000 Guineas (G1).

Thewayyouare is one of only six sons of Kingmambo scheduled to stand the 2010 season in Kentucky.  He is out of the Group 1-placed Sadler’s Wells mare Maryinsky and is a half brother to European champion filly Peeping Fawn.

Maryinsky is a half sister to G2 winning Deputy Minister mare Better Than Honour who is the dam of Belmont Stakes (G1) winner Rags to Riches, Kentucky stallion Jazil, G2 winner Casino Drive and Breeders’ Cup Marathon candidate Man of Iron.
