SEINNE – Hussonet-White Lady (Worldwatch)
Champion son of outstanding sire sensation Hussonet, the most dominant MR PROSPECTOR son at stud. Hussonet is the outstanding sire of 65 SW including the world’s highest rated 3YO champion WEEKEND HUSSLER, G1 Blue Diamond winner REAAN, G1 Winners HUSSON, NATIONAL PARK, HOST etc.
Seinne was a tough and classy Group winner. He had a fantastic race record on turf, winning as a 2YO before developing into one of Hussonet’s leading performers with a US G2 victory at Santa Anita in California to go with two G2 wins in Chile. A dual G1 runner-up in Chile prior to his export to the US, eight-time winner from 1200m-2000m.
Seinne also recorded a further four Group placings in North America.
Seinne is out of multiple G1 placed stakes-winner White Lady whose eight runners have all won (with five earning black-type). Dam of CLASSICAL LADY, granddam of ARROWFIELD, third dam of dual G1 winner HUSH MONEY. Family of the successful stallions PRINCE JOHN & COSMIC BOMB.
Seinne is a full brother to G2 winner WATCHIN and a half-brother to G3 winner NEW BRIDE. White Lady sire WORLDWATCH is the sire of 16 SW, including WARRIORS and WAGERS DELIGHT. He is broodmare sire of 24 SW including champions PRINTEMPS Champion 3YO filly, MAIL COACH Champion 2YO colt, WILD STORM, LU GRAND DUC etc.
Seinne’s sire and dam line are a formidable combination and should inject some predominantly purple bloodlines that will nick perfectly with our Australasian pedigrees.
REDOUTABLE – Redoute’s Choice-My Pink (Slew O’Gold)
Redoutable hails from the most successful modern day sire dynasty in Australia. Son of champion sire REDOUTE’S CHOICE who is in turn a son of the great Danehill. Redoute’s Choice has been a revelation at stud; to date he has produced 129 winners from 208 runners, 22 SW including eight G1 winners.
Redoutable, formerly trained by David Hayes, had a remarkably consistent race record, always in top company; he was in the money 11 times from his 13 start career. His versatility saw him perform from 1000m-1600m.
Redoutable has been well received by the local breeders; his first crop of yearlings were impressive and despite a depressed market sold extremely well at the Magic Millions February 09 sales, bringing up to TEN times his service fee.
Redoutable has a wonderful international black type pedigree; his dam My Pink was a talented race mare in France before her importation to Australia for stud duties. She is a half-sister to seven winners which include three SW and the successful French stallion Pink.
The strength of this pedigree is evidenced by the commercial appeal of My Pink whose first foal, a Flying Spur colt, sold for $700,000. This three-quarter brother to Redoutable named Pink Fit has now become a Group class racehorse in Victoria. My Pink’s three-quarter sister in-blood, Deja Slew, is the dam of Australia’s record priced yearling from the 06 Easter Yearling Sale, selling to $3 million. This Redoute’s Choice colt is a 7/8 genetic brother to Redoutable, once again proving the commercial appeal of this family.
LORDS A LEAPING – Zabeel-Turtle Dove (Bluebird)
One of the few sons of Zabeel to win as a 2YO and continue as a 3YO at classic Group level, Lords A Leaping raced predominantly in the highest echelon of Australian Racing, with 10 of his 17 starts at Group or Listed level in Victoria and Queensland.
The Zabeel bloodline has continued on in the same vein as Sir Tristram through its ability to click with all major Australian and International bloodlines. Zabeel is currently fourth on the Australian sires list.
Lords A Leaping’s damline has a group of Australian and International sires that regularly finish in the top bracket of Broodmare Sires, and this influence cannot be overlooked when trying to breed a winner. The combination of Bluebird, Biscay, Storm Bird, Vice Regal, Star Kingdom, Sir Ivor and Northern Dancer will enhance any mare’s progeny, both commercially and for the breeder wanting to race offspring.
Lords A Leaping’s dam Turtle Dove (by Bluebird, a champion three-year-old sprinter in Ireland, and now a proven international broodmare sire) has produced five foals for three winners. The power of this pedigree is evidenced by the marketable appeal of Turtle Dove; Lords A Leaping’s two full siblings sold for $200K to the bid of leading Sydney Trainer John O’Shea.
Lords A Leaping’s black type pedigree is extensive and can be traced in direct female descent to a daughter of St Simon who is heralded as being the most important influence worldwide on the modern day race horse. Lords A Leaping will have his first crop of foals to hit the ground this season and the excitement is brewing.
INVESTOR’S DREAM – Spend A Buck-Dandy Pat (Ghadeer)
This stallion is a coup for WA breeders having, as a 2YO, GROUP 1 and GROUP 2 wins. Voted Brazil Champion 2YO colt, Investor’s dream won over 1100m–1600m on turf and continued his winning way on turf in North America as a 3YO and 4YO.
His sire Spend A Buck was a US Horse of the Year who was never out of the money in his 15 race starts at 2YO and 3YO. He is best remembered for his G1 performances, winning the Kentucky Derby and the Arlington Washington Futurity.
As a sire he has produced 38 SW valued at over $16 million; two horses highlighted would be PICO CENTRAL, one of the world’s equal top rated race sprinters, the other equal first being the Australian bred SILENT WITNESS.
Investor’s Dream has some clout in his damline as well, being from a mare by five times Champion sire Ghadeer who also has five Champion Broodmare titles on his CV with the star example being US multiple G1 winner and Gr1-placed miler EINSTEIN.
