Danahere highlights Inglis Melbourne March Sale

Former Danny O’Brien trained mare Danahere topped the Inglis Melbourne March Sale when making $40,000 to the bid of Mileshan Nominees on Friday.

Danahere (5m Dehere – Danex by Danasinga) was part of the supplementary section of the catalogue as Lot 250.  She won four races, including two at Sandown, and was last seen finishing midfield in the G3 Lord Reims Stakes at Morphettville on March 3.

Flying Spur mare Espuela was next best on the leader-board at $35,000.  She was sold with a Statue Of Liberty colt at foot and in foal to Wanted.

A total of 221 lots sold for $1,011,650 at a 92% clearance rate at Oaklands Junction.  Half the lots attracted an online bid with 30 lots sold online.
