Darling View Thoroughbreds has doubled its investment for the 2020 stud season with the purchase of WA Champion first-season sire-elect I’m All The Talk.
The stakes-winning son of Stratum has sired five individual winners and five city placegetters in his first crop topped by G3 WA Sires’ Produce Stakes winner Watch Me Dance.
Darling View’s Brent Atwell beat off some spirited competition to buy Group 1 racehorse and sire Playing God (Blackfriars) last week and he went to the well again to secure I’m All The Talk.
“We’re excited and feel our line-up is as good as any in the State,” Atwell said on Monday. “Playing God and I’m All The Talk will be instrumental in taking us to the next level.”
Both stallions were initially based at Mungrup Stud prior to the announcement of its closure earlier this month. They join Patronize (Redoute’s Choice) and Lucky Street (Oratorio) on an enhanced roster at Mundijong.
Patronize is WA’s leading sire for winners-to-runners (72%) and G2 Karrakatta Plate winner Lucky Street will have his first crop racing in 2020-21.
