Delago Brom sold to South Korea

Flemington Group 1 winner Delago Brom will stand in South Korea after being sold at the Inglis Great Southern Sale on Friday.  The former Eliza Park stallion made $80,000.

Clangalang, who has been based at Eliza Park since 2004, was also catalogued but was withdrawn prior to the sale.

Top price among the breeding stock was seven year-old mare Docalady sold in foal to Magnus for $36,000.  The USA bred daughter of Stravinsky was purchased by Lauriston Thoroughbreds from Eliza Park acting as agent for Dorrington Farm’s Rob Crabtree.

Blue Gum Farm sold Elusive Doll for $33,000 to Oakford Thoroughbreds.  The Bellotto mare is a winning sister to Reputed Groom (G3 Qld Tatts Cup) and a half-sister to South Australian Derby winner Hard To Get (Geiger Counter).  She was sold in foal to Astronomer Royal.

Friday’s fourth and final session at Oaklands Junction grossed $685,550 at a $5,910 average.  The clearance rate was 82%.

The Supplementary session grossed $329,200 at a $5,397 average.
