The first southern foal by Emirates Park shuttler Dream Ahead was born on Monday night at Segenhoe Stud.
Tobouggie Woogie (Tobougg) delivered a chestnut filly for Adelaide breeder Harry Perks. The dam won 7 races under the guidance of trainers Mark Kavanagh, Alan Bailey and Leon Macdonald.
Perks has been a significant supporter of Emirates Park stallions over the years breeding the likes of multiple Group winner Majestic Music (Al Maher). His red, white and blue colours have also been carried by St. Clemens Belle, Southern Speed, Serious Speed and Gold Guru.
Dream Ahead (Diktat) has just completed his latest northern hemisphere book at Ballylinch Stud in Ireland. He was a G1 winner of the Prix de la Foret at Longchamp and also scored at the elite level in the Middle Park Stakes and July Cup at Newmarket, Prix Morny at Deauville and Sprint Cup at Haydock.
Dream Ahead is scheduled to arrive back at the Murrurundi headquarters of Emirates Park towards the end of this week for his second local season.
