Easy does it in Singapore

Exciting three-year-old Super Easy made it two-from-two in Singapore with another impressive winning display at Kranji on Friday night.

Super Easy (3c Darci Brahma – Parfore by Gold Brose) gave connections no real cause for concern at any stage of the Class 3 event.  He swept to the lead with consummate ease in the straight to score by three lengths over Raging Storm (Exceed And Excel) and Rising Expectation (Magic Of Sydney).

The New Zealand bred colt had won by five lengths on his Singapore debut a fortnight ago.  “He is a lovely horse,” said winning trainer Michael Freedman.  “It is never easy for a horse to jump to a Class 3 at such a young age.  He’s still learning what racing is all about, too.”

Super Easy was offered by Esker Lodge at the 2010 Karaka Premier Sale where he was purchased by Blue Sky Thoroughbreds for $140,000.  He won on debut at Trentham and was then beaten a nose by Anabandana (Anabaa) in the G3 Eclipse Stakes.

He also finished a brave fourth in the Karaka Million at his last run under Kiwi trainer John Sargent.  Super Easy is now owned by the Joy N Happiness Stable.  They also race top sprinter Northern Lion.

He is a half-brother to five-time Australian stakes-winner Our Lukas (Generous).  Their dam Parfore has a 2yo colt named Terravista (Captain Rio) and a yearling colt by Dubawi.
