The Inglis Australian Racehorse Sale at Oaklands Junction this Sunday (November 14) comprises 130 lots of Breeze-Up 2yos & 3yos, Racehorses and Race fillies. S elling will begin from 11am, with Online bidding and Inglis Sale Day Live for those unable to attend.
Breeze up highlights include a draft of 10 from Eliza Park, including progeny of first season sires Ad Valorem, Holy Roman Emperor, Written Tycoon, Bel Danoro and Danerich. There are also four two-year-olds by first season sire Churchill Downs, with other sires represented including carnival stakes winning sires Lonhro, Bel Esprit and Reset.
The Racehorses & Race Fillies selection is headed by the five times Group 3 winner Here De Angels (Lot 36).
Lindsay Park has entered a draft of 12 for this section, highlighted by the regally bred three-year-old filly Evidentia (Lot 29 Redoute’s Choice-Saucy Nell). The filly is a full-sister to Quick Blush (4th in last year’s G1 Blue Diamond Stakes) from the family of Champion colt Encounter.
Evidentia herself showed promise as a two-year-old when fourth in the Listed Talindert Stakes behind dual G1 winner Star Witness.
Lindsay Park will also offer former Coolmore import Alessandro Volta (Lot 34) The gelding was a winner of the G3 Epsom Derby Trial at Lingfield. He is a son of Montjeu, who enjoyed Australian G1 success via Wall Street in the Emirates Stakes on Saturday.
Darley also has a strong draft of 15 racehorses and fillies, including well related fillies by top sires Lonhro, Singspiel, Quest For Fame, Strategic, Elusive Quality, Viscount and Dubawi, in addition to Canny Lad’s recent Caulfield winner Sleepers (Lot 119).
The Darley draft also includes Notker (Lot 74), a lightly raced three-year-old Strategic filly whose half-sister Dysphonia will run among the favourites in Saturday’s Listed Summoned Stakes at Sandown.
Other Australian Racehorse Sale highlights include well-related Redoute’s Choice entire Tricky Choice (Lot 44), a half-brother to the ultra speedy stakes placed youngster Tricky Tricky.
Encosta De Lago three-year-old Gruffalo (Lot 103) is the first foal to race from G2 Emancipation Stakes winner Fantasia. Gruffalo was placed on debut at Sale before running fifth to subsequent G1 Caulfield Guineas winner Anacheeva at the same venue next time out.
Lightly raced Reset gelding Villiers (Lot 122) was a first up winner at Wyong over 1350m in September before running second over 1600m at Warwick Farm for the Kris Lees stable.
