Perth’s leading trainer Neville Parnham has another strong hand on Saturday at Ascot and will be out for redemption after his star three-year old God has Spoken was runner-up in last Saturday’s G1 Kingston Town Stakes.
Elliotto (5g Easy Rocking-Tanamur by Danehill) can give Parnham another feature win when he contests the A J Scahill Stakes (Race 6 at 4.29pm Perth time).
Beaten less than three lengths in the G1 Railway last start, Elliotto was nominated for the G1 Kingston Town Classic last week, but Parnham decided to freshen the gelding up and go for the softer kill in tomorrow’s G3 event.
Elliotto is one of four winners for Tanamur, a winning half sister to Kalgoorlie Gold Cup winner Forehand (Bellotto). He is a half brother to the stakes placed New Zealand galloper Classic Design (Masterpiece).
