Screen – Bred to Win – Sunday, 13 December 2009

Trainer Peter Snowden only has the one runner entered at Moonee Valley, but the Darley trainer is a big chance to walk away with the $100,000 winner’s cheque in the Pulse Pharmacy Handicap (Race 2 at 4.15pm AEDT).

Screen (3f Lonhro – Thespian by Zeditvave) was an impressive winner against her own sex over the same track and trip a fortnight ago and, despite facing the boys for the first time, should prove hard to hold out.

She is a first crop three-year old by boom sire Lonhro and is a half sister to Listed AJC Brian Crowley Stakes winner Brannigan (Flying Spur).  Their dam is a winning half-sister to three time Group 1 winner Dracula (Quest for Fame) who stands at Egmont Park in Queensland.
