Newsells Park Stud has announced Equiano will stand for unchanged fee in 2015.

He will be available for a 8,000 pounds (AUD 14,550) service fee

Equiano (Fr) shuttles to Swettenham Stud and is currently covering his fourth southern book at Nagambie.

“Equiano has made a very promising start to his career with three Group winners and performers already,” Newsells general manager Julian Dollar said.  “He’s been getting plenty of winners like Dark Reckoning, Strath Burn and Lola Beaux.

“As one would expect from a horse who was at his best at three and five years old, his runners look like they are improving with time and showing encouraging signs for their classic year.

“We are very grateful to our clients for their great support.  Hopefully, they will feel rewarded as Equiano had a great year.  We have to offer breeders a commercial return, so we felt leaving his fee unaltered was ultimately the right balance.”
