Peacewood Thoroughbreds stallion Upsized sired his first winner when his first starter Edgeroi Hope was successful at Emerald on Saturday.

Edgeroi Hope (2f Upsized – Antho by Secret Savings) won the Emerald Garden Creations Maiden (1000m) by a length on debut for Rockhampton trainer Clinton Garland.

Upsized (Catbird) won at Randwick and Canterbury and stands for a $1,650 service at Peacewood Thoroughbreds.  He is from the immediate family of G1 South Australian Derby winner English Wonder (Twig Moss) and her G1 winners Dr Grace (Sir Tristram) and Asia (Danehill).

Peacewood is situated on the Landsbrough Highway between Roma and Charleville and is also home to Danehill stallion Dantibes.
