Fleming Son tops Day 2 at Perth Magic Millions Sale

Bletchley Park gelding Fleming Son topped Day 2 of the Perth Magic Millions Winter Sale on Sunday at $31,000.  

Fleming Son has won three races, the last of them at Ascot on Boxing Day 2009.  He was purchased by Anthony Cipriano.

Prominent owner Lex Piper made his presence felt with a $30,000 bid for a yearling filly by Lynward Park sire Balmont.

Leading local agent John Chalmers was next best with $26,000 for the Peters Investments offering Talent Show.

All up over the two sessions, more than $418,000 was traded on 167 lots.  The clearance rate rounded out at 78%

The next major sale for Magic Millions is the National Horses in Training Sale on October 19 and 20.
