Juddmonte Farm matriarch Hasili has foaled a filly by brilliant young sire Oasis Dream.
Hasili (Kahyasi) is the only broodmare to have produced five individual Group 1 winners in the northern hemisphere and she will be bred back to Juddmonte resident Zamindar. He is the sire of Arc de Triomphe winner Zarkava.
Hasili has foaled the G1 winners Banks Hill (Coronation Stakes, Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf & Prix Jacques le Marois), Cacique (Manhattan Hcp & Man O’War Stakes), Champs Elysees (Northern Dancer Turf, Hollywood Turf Cup and Canadian International), Heat Haze (Beverly D Stakes and Matriarch Stakes) and Intercontinental (Matriarch Stakes and Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf).
Her first foal Dansili narrowly missed out on a Group 1 win finishing runner-up in the French 2000 Guineas, Sussex Stakes and Prix de la Foret. He has more than made up for it at stud siring seven G1 winners including last year’s world champion Harbinger.
Hasili’s four-year-old daughter Deluxe (Storm Cat) ran second in the 2010 G1 Prix Saint-Alary and has joined Bill Mott’s string in America in pursuit of more glory for her dam.
Hasili was a Listed winner of the Prix des Sablonnets and she is a half-sister to the dam of Leroidesanimaux who sired 2011 Kentucky Derby winner Animal Kingdom.
