The Fastnet Rocks are flying and Head Over Heels can continue his amazing run in the Courtza Hcp (Race 3 at 2.45pm AEDT) at Sandown this afternoon.

Head Over Heels (3f Fastnet Rock – Centaine’s Gift by Centaine) won her maiden at Kilmore last month and has since finished runner-up in town to Screen (Moonee Valley) and Sincengarni (Flemington).  The Peter Moody trained filly had excuses last time at headquarters when pocketed at a crucial stage and she will appreciate the drop back to the midweeks at Sandown.

Head Over Heels sports the Coolmore navy blue silks of Susan Magnier, Michael Kirwan, Ken Barry, Demi O’Byrne and Duncan Grimley.  Fastnet Rock’s G1 One Thousand Guineas winner Irish Lights also races for the same partnership.

The Coolmore stallion sired another city double last Saturday when potential star We’re Gonna Rock and Luminous Harmony saluted at Flemington.  His filly Fast Talked had won at Moonee Valley on Friday night.

Head Over Heels is a younger half-sister to Sydney sprinter Presently (Unbridled’s Song) who was a Listed winner of the Show County Hcp, Hall Mark Stakes, Razor Sharp Hcp and Carrington Stakes.
