Hi-Five for All Bar One

Oaklands Stud sire All Bar One edged one clear of his first-season rivals after Paladin won at Toowoomba on Saturday night.

All Bar One’s individual winner tally increased to five with Paladin’s half-head victory in the XXXX Gold 2YO Maiden Hcp (1100m).  He charged through a gap in the closing stages to defeat August Bishop (Red Dazzler) and Monjaya Boy (Strategic).

All Bar One leads a log-jam of freshman sires on four individual winners headed by Darley sires Nadeem, Gonski and Ad Valorem plus Saxon (Heytesbury) and Red Dazzler (Eureka).

Paladin (2c All Bar One – Lena For Luck by Rory’s Jester) is trained at Clifford Park by Mark Webb for owner-breeder Neville Stewart and they collected $13,500 in prizemoney and QTIS 600 bonuses.

The same connections had picked up two QTIS bonuses when All Bar One filly Hopefully doubled up at Toowoomba in February and March.

All Bar One (Hennessy) was a G2 winner of the Sir Byrne Hart Stakes and he stands for a $7,700 fee at Oaklands.  The best of his five winners to date is I’m the One.  He was a Listed winner of the Phelan Ready Stakes at Eagle Farm in December.
