Queensland based stallion Bullmore sired his first winner when Baymore broke through at Emerald on Saturday.
Baymore won on debut in the Uni-Weld Capella QTIS Maiden Plate (1100m) for local trainer Glenda Bell. He is QTIS qualified and collected $6,800 for a three-quarter length victory over Iriana Style (Garrison Savannah) and Whitby Lass (Markane).
Baymore (2g Bullmore – Hatta’s Dancer by Hatta’s Mill) was a $5,000 buy out of the Noralla Stud draft at the 2010 Capricornia yearling sale. His sire is based at Nick Nolan’s Noralla Stud in the Gladfield Valley.
Bullmore was trained by Graeme Rogerson and earned black-type when finishing a close second to Apache Cat in the Listed Gibson Carmichael Stakes at Flemington. An injury ended his career prematurely.
