A filly by red hot Queensland sire Hidden Dragon was the standout performer during Tuesday’s second session of Gold Coast breeze-ups in preparation for next month’s Magic Millions National HIT Sale.
The chestnut filly consigned by Hilton Thoroughbreds stopped the clock in 10.11 seconds – the fastest time ever at the Gold Coast based breeze-ups. The previous quickest time at a session was the 10.15 seconds set by Macau star Viva Pronto when he was offered at the 2007 auction.
Also running slick times during Tuesday’s breeze-ups were two-year-olds by Exceed and Excel (10.29), More Than Ready (10.35), Nadeem (10.36) and Grandera (10.4).
Further breeze-up sessions will be held at Seymour and Rockhampton on Thursday and Friday respectively. Both sessions commence at 10am. The two day National HIT Sale will be held at the Gold Coast on October 27 and 28.
