Sly Sandra is the dam of last month’s Listed Mornington Hareeba Stakes winner Zedi Knight who is being offered in-foal to Chatswood Stud sire Amadeus Wolf (GB).

The catalogue contains other mares in-foal to stallions such as Magnus, Haradasun, I Am Invincible, Captain Gerrard (Ire), Time Thief, Teofilo (Ire) and Black Caviar’s sire Bel Esprit.

There are 77 race fillies to go under the hammer including a sister to G2 winner Leica Falcon (Lot 93), half-sisters to G1 South Australian Derby winner Spintastic – Lot 75) and a G2 WATC Perth Cup winner (Hennessy Paradis – Lot 213), plus close relations to recent Group 2 VRC AC Kewney Stakes winner Do Ra Mi (Lorgnette – Lot 85) and Group 3 MRC Mannerism Stakes winner Red Flair (Assertive Spirit – Lot 102).

There is a strong selection of 108 race colts and geldings including stakes winning entire Keano (Lot 158) who is from a half-sister to Champion NZ sire O’Reilly, G1 placed entires Raffaelo (Lot 150) and Lucky Thunder (Lot 167), the lightly raced Halo’d Be Thy Name (Lot 139) plus Rosehill winner Inadequate (Lot 126) who is half-brother to the dam of recent stakes winner Ain’tnofallenstar.

“Again there is plenty on offer for all type and level of buyers, from breeders to agents to owners and trainers here at Oaklands this week,” said Inglis Director Peter Heagney.  “Multiple Group 2 winner Sound Journey was picked up at this sale as a yearling for just $6,000 before going on to collect $485,000, while his dam went for $4,000 before being sold a couple of years later for $140,000, so it pays to keep your eye out at this sale.”

Selling of the 260 Lots begins from 11:00am this Friday.  For those unable to attend the sale, Online Bidding and the Inglis Make an Offer services will be available.
