Krysia – Bred to Win – Wednesday, 9 December 2009

Mick Price is developing a strong three-year old team to tackle the autumn feature races.  Beautifully-bred Weasley and Marconi, who blitzed his rivals at Caulfield last Saturday, are shaping up nicely and another autumn prospect named Krysia makes her much anticipated debut in the Rinnai Plate at Sale (Race 3 at 2.10pm AEDT) this afternoon.

Krysia (3f Elvstroem-Leica Or Not by Kendor) was retained to race by Bob Scarborough and is a first crop three-year old by Blue Gum Farm sire Elvstroem.  Although not seen at the public trials, Krysia looks well above average.  She is a half sister to G1 Australian Guineas winner Light Fantastic (Danehill Dancer), G1 New Zealand Derby winner Lecia Guv (Deputy Governor) and G3 SAJC Jansz Stakes winner Lectrice (Encosta de Lago).
