Magic Millions appoints new manager in WA

David Houston has been appointed Perth manager of Magic Millions.

Houston, 54, takes over from Murray Tillett who has been with the company since it replaced Goodwood Bloodstock as Western Australia’s auction house in the 1990s.  Tillett has taken up a post at Woodside Park in Victoria.

Houston has worked at Baramul Stud, Torryburn Stud, Burnewang North, Independent Stallions and most recently at Allan Hills Stud in Victoria.

“It is a great opportunity for me to be representing Magic Millions in Western Australia and work closely with the local industry,” Houston said.  “I’m really looking forward to building on the relationships I have formed with West Australians over the years and also meeting everyone else involved.”

Magic Millions plans to upgrade its commitment to Western Australia with the development of a new selling complex at Ascot well underway.
