Moe connection happy with Module

Module will be freshened for the spring carnival after extending his unbeaten run for new connections in the VRC Baden-Baden Trophy at Flemington on Saturday.

Module (5g Reset – Miss Helterskelter by Brocco) relished the step to 2000 metres as he pulled clear of Conquering Journey to win easily.  Since changing hands last month, he has won three-from-three for Moe based brothers Peter and Manny Gelagotis.

“He’s a horse who makes his own luck and is delivering on the promise he’s always shown,” Manny Gelagotis said.  “I don’t think we’ve really improved him but we’re looking after him.  He’s a very happy horse and has got some class.”

Module was purchased from Lloyd Williams for $70,000 at the Magic Millions Racehorse Sale on the Gold Coast earlier this year.  He is by Darley’s unbeaten sire son Reset from Listed AJC Breeders’ Classic winner Hiss Helterskelter.

Module was originally sold to Williams for $100,000 at the 2007 Gold Coast Magic Millions from the Bell River consignment.
