Musk Creek recorded sales of $1.25 million at the Magic Millions last week led by a Snitzel filly that caught the eye of Duncan Ramage.
Flinders based Musk Creek pin-hooked the filly (ex Exceedingly Happy) for $110,000 at the 2015 Inglis Easter Foal Sale and received $250,000 at the Gold Coast. She is out of a half-sister to G1 Epsom Hcp winner Rock Kingdom.
Another good result for Musk Creek owner David Kobritz was the Teofilo – Sweet Little Lies colt that cost NZ based Mulcaster Bloodstock $240,000. He is the first foal of a Melbourne juvenile winner and was also sourced out of the 2015 Inglis Easter Foal Sale for $65,000.
Third on its leader-board was a Sebring colt that made $180,000 from the China Horse Club. He was sold as agent for breeder Andrew Goulopoulos and is the first foal of LR Debutant Stakes winner Eramor (Stratum).
Musk Creek has 7 yearlings entered for the Melbourne Premier starting with a Smart Missile colt (Lot 41). He is a half-brother to the Darren Weir trained Profit Share who won at Sandown this time last year and then returned to land a winning double at Warrnambool in December.
