Owner-breeder Bob Peters and trainer Grant Williams stole the show with four winners at Ascot last Saturday culminating with Dreamaway’s victory in the G3 WATC Oaks.
Dreamaway is by Vinery champion More Than Ready and so is stablemate New Image who won the 17th Matchmaker Classic. Peters picked Oakland Park sire Viscount among the stallions nominated as part of the prize for the race.
Later than night, Viscount’s champion sprinter Rocket Man won the G1 Dubai Golden Shaheen in Dubai.
Runner-up Mabel Grace (Kendel Star) will be served by leading Durham Lodge sire Blackfriars. See A Victory (Mister C) finished third and her connections chose Mungrup Stud sire Danehill Express.
Fourth home Pillow Time (Danetime) will by covered by Flying Pegasus from Touchstone Farms and front-runner Timely Queen (Danetime) held on for fifth to claim the last free service to Heytesbury sire Husson Lightning.
