Eliza Park has appointed John Jeffs as its Asian representative.

A former racecourse manager at Randwick, Rosehill and Hong Kong, Jeffs has also played a pivotal role for both Eliza Park and Tyreel Stud at major sales.

“We’re very excited about the appointment and it’s a step forward for Eliza Park in the region,” Eliza Park CEO Cameron Croucher said.  “JJ will be based in Australia and will remain our front man at sales – but will regularly visit Hong Kong, Singapore and Macau and assist with the expansion into mainland China.

“Our racing division has built up a reputation with Asian clients through the export of ready to run horses and via our breaking in and pre-training facilities.

“In such a competitive marketplace, liaison with Asia requires a person with credibility and professionalism – on that score, John Jeffs fits the bill perfectly.”
