Patinack enters Oasis Dream – Sun Classique colt for 2012 Inglis Easter Sale

An Oasis Dream colt from international Group 1 winning mare Sun Classique has been added to the star-studded entries received for the 2012 Inglis Easter yearling sale.

He will be offered for sale by Patinack Farm.  “This colt exemplifies our commitment to offering buyers the best foals off our farm,” Patinack Farm manager Ben Lawrence said.  “From day one, he has been a regarded as one of the best foals Patinack has produced.”

Sun Classique (Fuji Kiseki) was Champion 3YO Filly of South Africa and Champion Older Mare of UAE before she was covered in England by Oasis Dream to southern hemisphere time.

Exported to Australia, she was sold to Patinack Farm for $2 million at the Inglis 2010 Easter broodmare sale.

Patinack’s Easter nominations also include the first foals of Group 1 MRC Thousand Guineas winner Serious Speed and Canonbury Stakes flyer Danehill Smile, along with a full sister to last Saturday’s G2 Chelmsford Stakes winner Trusting.

Patinack Farm stallion Casino Prince sired this year’s Easter yearling sale-topper, a half-brother to Black Caviar, and the Flying Spur stallion will again be well represented at the 2012 renewal, including colts from Balcanny, Curvaceous, Showeranasherry and Boudi Woudi.

In addition to a strong draft for Easter, Patinack will also be supporting the Inglis Melbourne Premier and Sydney Classic yearling sales in 2012.

Resident stallions Wonderful World, Husson, Murtajill and Casino Prince to be represented at all three select sales.
