No stallion roster at Glenlogan Park

Glenlogan Park has announced it will not be standing stallions for the foreseeable future.

Queensland’s leading stud was home to Show A Heart, Falvelon, Rothesay, Real Saga, Jet Spur and Rich Enuff in 2016.

“We are very, very proud of what our stallions have achieved over a long period of time,” Glenlogan’s general manager Steve Morley said. “The influence they have had, and continue to have, on racing up here is almost unparalleled when they are considered as an entire group.

“It’s a change in direction and our focus will now be on producing yearlings and racehorses and presenting them at the major sales around the country.”

New homes have already been found for Rothesay (Lyndhurst Stud), Real Saga (Eureka Stud) & Jet Spur (Grandview Stud) while Rich Enuff (Woodside Park) heads back to Victoria.

Veteran sires Show A Heart and Falvelon will be retired, bar the odd walk-on mare, and will spend their remaining years together at Innisplain.
