Brent Stanley has recently returned from a riding stint in Macau and will be looking to re-establish himself in Melbourne’s riding ranks.  Leon Corstens is one trainer giving him a chance at Romsey.

Olympic Win (4g Montjeu – Tennessee Moon by Darshaan) can kick-start the comeback in the Maffra Sports Club Hcp (Race 5 at 3.00pm AEDT) at Sale.

After a strong win at Kyneton, Olympic Win was narrowly defeated at Seymour after setting a solid pace up front.  He strikes a similar company today and from an inside barrier should be able to control the race.

Olympic Win is by Coolmore Group 1 winner Montjeu who shuttled to Windsor Park in NZ until 1995.  He is from the lightly raced Tennessee Moon and hails from the same family as the 2009 G1 Mudgeway Stakes winner Tavistock.
