Leading trainer John Moore lavished praise on Trade Fair four-year-old Packing Whiz after his emphatic win in the G3 Sa Sa Ladies Purse (1800m) at Sha Tin on Sunday.
“This horse is the real deal,” said Moore. “He’s a Group 1 horse and we’ve got big plans ahead. He will now go to the G2 Jockey Club Cup (2000m) on November 18 and then into the G1 Hong Kong Cup (2400m) on December 9.”
Packing Whiz was bred in Ireland by John Cullinan and is from the unraced Efisio mare Swizzle. Racing as Al Rep, he won last year’s G3 Italian 2000 Guineas before transferring to the Far East where he is raced by Lee Man Yan.
Packing Whiz is by Trade Fair who stands at Alwyn Park in Western Australia.
