Dubleanny enhanced her outstanding race record with a last-gasp win in the LR Proud Miss Stakes at Morphettville on Sunday.  The Vinery mare launched a late bid to nail Cornelia Marie (Reset) and Cat’s Pyjamas (Fusaichi Pegasus) right on the line.

Dubleanny completed a double for Caulfield trainer Mick Price after stablemate Vivid Vixen (Ekraar) won the Listed ACG Security Stakes.  

Dubleanny (4m Dubleo – Uncanny Lady by Canny Lad) has earned over $460,000 after being purchased from Murrulla Stud at the 2008 Gold Coast Magic Millions for $65,000.  The Melbourne mare is a first crop daughter of Vinery’s USA bred sire Dubleo.  Like More Than Ready, he is a son of Southern Halo and won five stakes races from 1100m to 1700m.

The Vinery mare is from the extended family of Zero Rock and further back to champion filly November Rain.

Dubleo has two weanlings catalogued for the upcoming Magic Millions National weanling sale including a half sister to recent stakes performed juvenile Queenian and Hong Kong Group winner Slow Waltz.  He also has a colt headed to the National yearling sale and 12 mares covered by the sire last spring are catalogued for the National broodmare sale.
